Tips to lose fat from hips and thighs

How to Lose Weight From Hips & Thighs?

By Define Aesthetics, June 15, 2016

Genetically Indian women have pear shaped bodies which come with heavy hips & thighs. Thunder thighs cause problem in fitting of jeans/trousers, also wearing short dresses often becomes an embarrassing problem. Often these areas have a type of fat called Cellulite.

What Is Cellulite?

Cellulite is a condition in which the skin has areas with underlying fat deposits, giving it a dimpled, lumpy appearance. It is most noticeable on the buttocks and thighs. A quick way to tell if you have cellulite is the pinch test: Use your index finger and your thumb and pinch the skin on your outer thigh, buttocks, or abdomen, and look for dimpling.

Cellulite is the result of the overlying skin structure combined with underlying fat cells protruding outwardly, while simultaneously the connective tissue, called septae, hold the skin in place causing a rippled, or orange peel appearance- similar to a leather chair that has large amounts of stuffing pillowing out while buttons hold the leather skin tightly to the internal rigid structure of the chair.

Causes of Cellulite?

The causes of cellulite are not well understood, but there are several theories that have been put forth as explanations. Among these are:

  • Hormonal factors – hormones likely play an important role in cellulite development. Estrogen may be the important hormone in the development of cellulite. Other hormones, including insulin, the catecholamines adrenaline and noradrenalinethyroid hormones, and prolactin, are all believed to participate in the development of cellulite.
  • Genetics – There is a genetic element in individual susceptibility to cellulite. Genes may predispose an individual to particular characteristics associated with cellulite, such as gender, race, slow metabolism, distribution of fat just underneath the skin, and circulatory insufficiency.
  • Diet – people who eat too much fat, carbohydrates, or salt and too little fiber are likely to have greater amounts of cellulite.
  • Lifestyle factors – cellulite may be more prevalent in smokers, those who do not exercise, and those who sit or stand in one position for long periods of time. A high-stress lifestyle will cause an increase in the level of catecholamines, which have also been associated with the development of cellulite
  • Clothing – underwear with tight elastic across the buttocks (limiting blood flow) may contribute to the formation of cellulite

Grades of Cellulite

A simple grading-score of cellulite by inspection was given by Nürnberger and Müller (1978).

Grade 0

Smooth surface of skin while lying down and standing. Wrinkles upon pinch test.

Grade 1

Smooth surface of skin while lying down and standing. Mattress phenomenon upon pinch-test.

Grade 2

Mattress phenomenon spontaneously while standing.

Grade 3

Mattress phenomenon spontaneously while standing and lying down.

Myth about cellulite:

Cellulite are caused by the TOXINS-

It’s a myth as causes of cellulite are already described with facts. Some products claim to remove cellulite and cellulite producing toxins from body but neither of it is supported by science.

Women get more cellulite than man-

It’s a myth and doesn’t depend on gender.

Cellulite only occur in fat people-

Cellulite can happen to people with any shape and weight. But, it’s more visible on the overweight people especially with lighter skin color.

Can home remedy remove cellulite?

You may find a number of home remedies to remove cellulite from hips and thighs. But, nothing has concrete evidence to support the remedies. This is a medical condition that happens within the skin. Tropical application of any kind of item may not give you desired results. Rather, home remedies don’t work at all if you have severe cellulite.

Acoustic waves are extremely strong non-focused sound pulses that induce vibration within the body. This is similar technology to the extra-corporeal shock wave therapy which is sometimes used to treat kidney stones and other ailments, such as foot pain caused by heel spurs and plantar fascitis.

In aesthetic medicine, the acoustic radial soft waves were successfully modified to the clinical needs of cellulite therapy and for the treatment of other aesthetic conditions.

  • The firmness and elasticity of the dermis increases.
  • Blood circulation and collagen production is significantly stimulated.
  • Restored elasticity of skin & connective tissue
  • Visible improvement in skin texture

Acoustic Wave Treatment Effects on Cellulite

HFU  uses  targeted ultrasound energy to burst fat cells without damaging surrounding tissues. The released fat is used up in the body. Our body cannot form new fat cells after a specific age, so the destroyed fat cells are never replaced. Less fat cells means less space for body to deposit fat. If one follows a healthy lifestyle that we advise our patients; these results are permanent. This can help people with genetic predisposition to deposit fat on hips & thighs.

When we exercise our brain sends signals to the corresponding muscles. Ion Magnum mimics these signals so that the muscle tissue is made to believe that it is performing a muscle-toning workout. In return what you get is the benefits of an intense, professional workout minus the pain, physical exertion or inconvenience of conventional exercise. It reduces both surface & visceral fat & also builds muscles & improves muscle mass. This naturally increases metabolic rate which further initiates weight loss.

All the nonsurgical treatments have effective and visible results and have no side effects.
